Bonnet House

Fort Lauderdale Historical Museum
On display is a photograph collection and local artifacts from the Seminole Wars period to the present.

International Swimming Hall of Fame
Display of Olympic memorabilia and achievements from notable swimmers, sports literature from the 1800's and aquatic artifacts from the 15th century.

Houses a permanent collection of 20th century European and America art.

Museum of Discovery and Science and Blockbuster 3D IMAX Theater
Displays and hands-on exibits, plus a 300 seat 3D theater presenting films on a five story screen. Use of headsets enhances the experience.

Fort Lauderdale Riverwalk

Sawgrass Recreation Park
Features an 18th century Indian village and a 30 minute narrated Everglades airboat tour.

Stranahan House
Well preserved historical house built in 1901, complete with furniture of the era. Oldest building in Broward County.

Anne Kolbe Nature Center
Located in West Lake Park, it has over 1,400 acres of wetland habitat for wading birds and other native wildlife. Educational boat tours, Intracoastal fishing pier and environmental exhibit hall are available.

Butterfly World
3 acres of tropical gardens with beautifully colored butterflies soaring around in a screen enclosure. It also includes a breeding laboratory, a butterfly museum and an insectarium, complementing the surroundings are waterfalls, a botanical vine walk, and English rose garden.

Buehler Planetarium
Located in Broward Community College Campus, features time and space travel shows, and laser lights shows. In the evening, after shows, telescope is available for viewing.

Flamingo Gardens and Arboretum

Graves Museum of Archeology and Natural History
It has on display bones from various reptiles and primates, and artifacts and specimens from African tribal art to South Florida minerals.
